Andrés Herrera Pagliettini

Artista visual, vive y trabaja en Valparaíso. Afiliado a la Asociación de pintores y escultores de Chile, APECH. Ha estudiado en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Viña del Mar y Licenciatura en arte en la Universidad de Playa Ancha, Valparaíso.

Con una trayectoria de más de 25 años en la pintura ha dictado talleres y charlas, realizado exposiciones individuales, igualmente ha participado en un sinnúmero de exposiciones colectivas y obtenido numerosos premios y distinciones.

“Mi trabajo se desarrolla en la disciplina de la Pintura y se adscribe principalmente al género de paisaje.

Me interesa el paisaje como objeto de representación; la apropiación pictórica del entorno (espacio del habitar) o de ciertos lugares reconocidos, territorios vividos, espacios con los cuales por alguna u otra razón mantengo un cierto tipo de apego o identificación”

Desde el año 2014 ha integrado el proyecto de Rojo galería como artista residente y actualmente expone de forma exclusiva en la galería.

With a career spanning more than 25 years in painting, he has taught workshops and given talks, held solo exhibitions, and participated in countless group exhibitions, receiving numerous awards and distinctions.

“My work is developed in the discipline of painting and is mainly ascribed to the genre of landscape. I am interested in the landscape as an object of representation; the pictorial appropriation of the environment (living space) or of certain recognized places, lived territories, spaces with which, for one reason or another, I maintain a certain type of attachment or identification.”

Since 2014, he has been part of the Rojo Gallery project as a resident artist and currently exhibits exclusively at the gallery.
