Alejandro Balbontín

Arquitecto, Pintor, nacido en Santiago de Chile el 26 de Octubre de 1964. Pasa su infancia y adolescencia entre Santiago de Chile, Cuenca y Quito (Ecuador) y Argel (Argelia). En 1985 se radica en Santiago en donde ingresa a la Universidad de Chile, se titula de Arquitecto en 1992 y paralelamente desarrolla su carrera como artista plástico profesional, tanto en Chile como en el extranjero. Ha realizado numerosas exposiciones individuales y colectivas, principalmente en Santiago, Lima, Nueva York, Quito y Cuenca. Actualmente mantiene su taller en Santiago de Chile y en Quito (Ecuador).

Architect, Painter, born in Santiago de Chile on October 26, 1964. He spent his childhood and adolescence between Santiago de Chile, Cuenca and Quito (Ecuador) and Algiers (Algeria). In 1985 he moved to Santiago where he entered the University of Chile, graduated as an Architect in 1992 and in parallel developed his career as a professional visual artist, both in Chile and abroad. He has held numerous individual and group exhibitions, mainly in Santiago, Lima, New York, Quito and Cuenca. Currently he maintains his workshop in Santiago de Chile and Quito (Ecuador).
