Su pintura persiste en la difícil tarea de entrar en contacto con las emociones.
Partiendo de una relación primordial con la naturaleza que es recogida en sus rasgos fundamentales, el trazo de la mancha confirma en el taller el grado de compromiso y propiedad con el acto pictórico como tal.
A la deriva, con y contra la representación de su modelo, lo único cierto en sus cuadros de paisajes es la organización de los pigmentos y materiales en la superficie que los hacen objetos y tras esa "mentira", en que nos gusta perdernos, se guarda y protege el paisaje interior subsecuente porque estos paisajes son antes mentales y tópicos.
No busca el registro del mundo para confirmar su cuota de realidad, sino que designan aquel espacio eminentemente subjetivo donde el autor concurre en su propia transformación, lo que se oculta y lo que se muestra en una dinámica que resuelve las condiciones de vulnerabilidad emotiva a que nos expone la pintura cuando esta se convierte en el territorio más íntimo.
